Description

Large block of white earthy chalk with 2 echinoid (sea urchin) spines exposed on the surface. One is gourdlike or club-shaped with small spurs aligned along stout ribs, and can be identified as a primary spine of Tylocidaris clavigera." The other spine is long and slender with small thorns on narrow ribs, and is indicative of Temnocidaris (Stereocidaris) sceptrifera. More fossils may be embedded deeper in the chalk.
