Description

Two valves comprising one complete saltwater clam. The shells are opaque beige and gray in color. The valves are triangular shaped and have a thick periostracum with visible striae. The interiors of the valves are beige with visible worm castings taking up large portions of the interiors. The valves have deep hinges, prominent hinge teeth but a shallow ventral margin.
