last meeting. Nothing has passed [page torn]
excepting a more general spirit of order and regularity.
The examinations of the Senior Class are over; and we see no
sufficient reason to refuse a recommendation for a degree to any
of the Candidates. Those whose examinations were inferior in merit,
have exercised however a faithful attention to their Studies, and
their deficiency involves no fault. Mr Henry to whose department
it falls, will send the list of candidates recommended for
a degree.
I know of nothing requiring explanation or detail; if any thing
should occur to the board on which they request further informa
-tion, it will afford me pleasure to conform to the wishes of the
Trustees. I am Gentlemen
Your obedient Servant

PS. Mr Williams the steward, has
referred to the Faculty for his Character. He begins to understand his
Situation well; and during the present Session, the Faculty can say that
his conduct as steward has given full and general Satisfaction.
