Description

Letter from H. R. Thornton to Andrew Charles Moore. In the letter Thornton expresses just how sad he is to see that Moore is leaving to study at the Unversity of Chicago. Moore had gone to Chicago to study Botany. Thornton said that his departure would be a great loss to the public shools in Birmingham, Alabama. Thornton also wishes Moore luck in his studies.
