Description

One valve of a freshwater mussel. The valve is round in shape. The exterior of the valve is a light brown color with a green hue and reaches white near the hinge. Covering the exterior of the shell are thin, green, vertical striations that radiate from the hinge of the shell to the edges. The interior of the shell is white in color with a slightly pearlescent coating.
